On a sunny September day, 13 volunteers from esure Group joined Glasgow City Council at Richmond Park for a day of conservation activities in partnership with Buglife and GreenTheUK.
The team got stuck in cutting back overgrown branches and vegetation to keep walkways clear and accessible, removing weeds in preparation for fresh bark to be laid down, and spreading bark to improve the look and health of the park landscape. They also dedicated time to working on the park’s nectar bar, ensuring it continues to provide vital food sources for pollinators.
Glasgow City Council praised the group’s effort and energy, saying they’d be welcomed back anytime.
