On World Environment Day, the LMAX Group team partnered with GreenTheUK and returned to Hockeridge and Pancake Wood.

The day began with a guided walk led by wildlife experts Jen and Zoe, who shared fascinating insights into the history of the woodland and the ongoing challenges of managing it in the face of climate change.

Armed with new knowledge, the LMAX team got to work clearing holly trees to help open up flight paths for birds and allow more sunlight to reach the forest floor - vital for encouraging biodiversity.

Despite the pouring rain, spirits were high. We’re delighted to have worked alongside such a committed team and grateful to everyone who gave their time to support the future of UK woodlands.
