AIM:

Plant trees and restore forests in places where, together, we can make the fastest, most lasting impact for communities and the future of our planet.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

GreenTheUK grants will support ITF and its network of community groups to plant trees across the UK, restoring local landscapes, enhancing biodiversity and creating greener spaces for people and wildlife. Together, we are helping communities establish and care for trees that will deliver lasting benefits for people and planet.

ABOUT ITF:

Some people are just waking up to the vital importance of trees to life on earth. But at ITF we know that trees are precious. And when they are planted properly, they transform landscapes and lives.

International Tree Foundation exists to plant, protect and promote the silent work that trees do to help us all. It’s an endeavour we embarked on over 100 years ago. It is just as vital today as it was a century ago.

With a long history of growing trees and restoring forests, especially in Kenya and the UK, we know that the relationship between people and forests is vital. That’s why we’re a community-led organisation.

Today, we work with local communities to plant trees that provide climate resilience, restore ecosystems and protect the future of our planet for people and wildlife alike.
